Fermaid O from Lallemand is a yeast nutrient optimized for the fermentation of all types of wine made from apples, grapes, fruit and berries, and is also excellent for mead production and other honey-based fermented beverages.
Fermaid O™ is an organic yeast nutrient containing minerals and vitamins.
Fermaid O differs from Fermaid K in that it is a natural product containing organic nitrogen, where the nitrogen is derived from yeast cells rather than diammonium phosphate (DAP).
Fermaid O is added to cider, mead, juice, wine, fruit wine or sparkling wines. Lallemand recommends adding it in one of the following two ways:
