By fermenting with Go-Ferm Protect® yeast starter, you give your selected wine yeast bioavailable micronutrients in the hydration water, instead of the traditional method of adding micronutrients to the must.

During rehydration, the yeast acts like a sponge, absorbing Go-Ferm Protect® bioavailable nutrients. When you ensure that minerals and vitamins are available to the selected yeast, yeast viability increases and fermentations finish stronger.

  • Go-Ferm® is dissolved in rehydration water just before adding your selected active dry yeast. Do not use inorganic salts or DAP in the rehydration water, as this damages the yeast
